Identity Management Expert (m/w/d)

What you will do with us

• Lead the conceptional advancement of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) landscape with a clear focus on Microsoft Entra ID as a core member of an expert team.
• Develop and optimize our IAM platforms, particularly regarding cloud and hybrid scenarios, in close collaboration with the responsible IT departments.
• Support departments in connecting applications to Entra ID (SSO, Federation, Conditional Access) while defining and establishing standards and architectures for modern authentication and authorization solutions (e.g., SAML, OAuth2/OIDC).
• Drive the integration of applications via standardized interfaces (e.g., SCIM) and actively promote the automation of identity lifecycle and provisioning processes.
• Position and champion IAM sustainably across the entire company and within individual business units.
  Steer IAM (sub-)projects end-to-end, ensuring close alignment with key stakeholders and maintaining transparent communication throughout the process.
• Actively shape the transformation toward a modern, cloud-based IAM architecture as part of decommissioning our legacy SAP Identity Management solution.

What you will bring with you

• A university degree with a focus on Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or a comparable professional qualification forms your theoretical foundation.
• Several years of hands-on experience in Identity & Access Management, ideally gained within complex corporate environments, is required for this role.
• A proven track record in operating and continuously developing IAM solutions such as Entra ID, SAP IDM, or comparable frameworks distinguishes your profile.
• It is advantageous to have practical expertise with Microsoft Entra ID: specifically covering Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, OAuth2 / OpenID Connect, and user provisioning/lifecycle management including SCIM.
• Strong familiarity with application integration, API/directory service interface configuration, as well as Conditional Access and Zero Trust approaches is expected.
• Deep knowledge of cloud and hybrid architectures along with their corresponding security requirements rounds out your technical expertise.
• A structured and analytical mindset, paired with solid experience in successfully managing technical projects, characterizes your working style.
• Excellent communication skills and the necessary assertiveness enable you to collaborate successfully with diverse stakeholders on a senior level.
• Fluency in English and German (both written and verbal) is essential to operate effectively in our environment.
