• As Head of Data Science and Analytics (m/w/d) you develop and implement data science strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives
• Lead large-scale AI and ML projects as well as initiatives, which are delivering significant business value, based on latest advancements to ensure the team remains at the forefront of technology
• You drive the adoption of best practices in AI and ML development. Ensure the robustness, scalability, and reliability of AI and ML solutions, and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data science projects, from prototyping to deployment.
• Develop innovative approaches and methodologies to solve complex data-related challenges while working closely with the Data Excellence team and BI Team to ensure alignment and integration of data initiatives
• You act as a trusted advisor to senior management, who is constantly presenting insights and shares recommendations and promote data literacy across the enterprise by sharing knowledge and insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive holistic data solutions, breaking down silos and promoting a collaborative environment. So you foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and align with senior stakeholders on data initiatives with business objectives
• You lead and mentor junior, mid-, and senior-level data scientists providing technical guidance and strategic direction and fostering their professional growth

Das bringst du mit

• Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics), or proven equivalent experience
• Proven leadership and team management skills as well as extensive experience leading and delivering high-impact AI and ML projects
• Strong expertise in advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (preferred) or R., deep understanding of cloud platforms (Azure and Snowflake), version control tools (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket), and distributed computing frameworks
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities, with experience presenting to senior executives
• Strategic mindset and ability to align data initiatives with organizational goals, which match with your strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Record of accomplishment of driving innovation and staying ahead of industry trend
• Experience working cross-functionally and promoting collaboration with a strong drive to promote data literacy across the enterprise and work collaboratively with various teams to break down silos and foster a culture of innovation
