What you will do with us
We are looking for an experienced R2R Subject Matter Expert to drive excellence across end-to-end Record-to-Report processes. In this role, you will leverage deep accounting and process expertise to standardize operations, strengthen controls, and lead continuous improvement and transformation initiatives. You will also act as the owner of the R2R control framework and a key advisor across Finance.
Process Ownership & Standardization
- Act as SME for end-to-end R2R processes, policies, and accounting topics
- Design and implement future-state process models
- Own and maintain process documentation (DTPs, process maps, blueprints)
- Define SLAs and ensure alignment with global standards
Continuous Improvement & Automation
- Identify inefficiencies and drive process optimization, automation, and digitalization
- Support productivity targets and eliminate non-value-added activities
- Define and manage R2R KPIs and best practices
Systems & SAP Expertise
- Act as SAP (FI/CO) champion within R2R
- Drive system improvements in collaboration with IT
- Support system configuration and deliver user trainings
Accounting Expertise
- Provide deep knowledge across GL, Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting (IFRS 16), Bank Accounting, and reporting
- Support complex accounting topics and ensure high-quality outputs
- Deliver technical accounting trainings
Controls & Compliance
- Own the R2R internal control framework
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Support audits and drive remediation actions
Projects & Transformation
- Lead or support R2R transformation projects, system implementations, and migrations
- Support UAT and ensure sustainable adoption of changes
Stakeholder Management
- Act as trusted advisor to Finance teams and Team Leads
- Collaborate with Controlling, IT, Audit, and PMO
- Support escalation handling and complex issue resolution
What you will bring with you
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA is a plus)
- 5+ years of GL/R2R experience and 3+ years in audit
- Experience in process improvement, transformation, or projects
- Shared Services or multinational environment experience
- Strong SAP FI/CO knowledge + finance tools (e.g. BlackLine, Trintech, BPC, HFM, SAC)
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Strong accounting knowledge (Balance Sheet & P&L)
- Analytical mindset and structured problem-solving
- Ability to influence stakeholders
- Digitalization and continuous improvement mindset
- Fluent English (German is a plus)
