What you will do with us

Develop food and non-food country specific assortment following the effective balance between central buying and local purchasing for Romanian market

Continuous analysis of sales data and decision-making on the basis of both market situation and our sales history

Lead supplier strategy and create annual negotiation tactical plan

Lead our global category innovation efforts to ensure delivery of new products that meet consumer needs

Understand market and evaluate the share/performance of our company

Develop & maintain pricing strategy following margin targets

Make sure the split of the subcategories are align with the sales performance and store layout and shelf space density is optimal

Develop promotional strategy, planning of product, pricing and placement, forecasting stock

Leading 3 people in the team to ensure operational processes such as product administration, data management, logistic information managed

Leading the communication to the stores about the information like assortment changes, price changes, new suppliers.

Reporting to cluster category management director and working together with international team

What you will bring with you

 

University degree

Fluent Romanian AND intermediate English language proficiency,

At least 5+ years professional experience in the area of category management and buying (retail or FMCG field),

Professional level of data analysis skill

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, very good skills in Microsoft Excel,

High level skill of managing complex development.

Ability to think strategically and execute when necessary to be hands on

Strong Organisational and time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritise

Experience in the pet food sector and Hungarian language knowledge is an asset
